The morning activities start at 11.00am with the crowning of the new Queen on the Market Cross in the centre of the town. At the same time the procession itself starts from the High Street Car park.
* NOTE! The roads in the centre of Garstang will be closed from 10.30am until approx. 12.30pm to all traffic.
The procession then proceeds around the town – with a lap around the centre of town and then continuing south of the town along Bonds Lane as far as Dimples Lane before returning into town to finish on Park Hill Road – see procession map.
The evening procession starts at 6.00pm on Moss Lane and completes two laps of the centre of the town before finishing on Park Hill Road.

TRAVELLING BY CAR FROM THE NORTH:
Leave the M6 at Junction 33 and head south on the A6 towards Preston for about 5 miles. You will see a sign to Garstang on your left hand side by a petrol station. Follow that road into the town centre. Alternatively carry on down the A6 and turn left at the traffic lights into Croston Road. Follow the road to the end and you will arrive in the Town Centre.
TRAVELLING BY CAR FROM THE SOUTH:
Leave the M6 at Junction32 and join the M55. Exit the M55 at Junction1 and travel north along the A6 towards Garstang for about 6 miles. You will go past the Flag public house on your left, go over the canal and then reach a set of traffic lights. At the traffic lights turn right into Croston Road. Follow the road to the end and you will arrive in the Town Centre.
There are two main car parks in Garstang – the High Street Car Park and `Booths’ Car Park.
Parking on side roads is allowed but local restrictions apply.
