Garstang and District Children's Festival
A LETTER FROM THE QUEEN
Hey – my name is Paige and I am 15 years old. I live in Garstang with my Mum Debbie,
Dad Gary, brother Dominic, sister Rebecca and my many pets – dog Victor, cat Mollie,
two rabbits Jenny and Buttons, budgies Lucky and Gizmo and two goldfish. I am in Year
10 at Garstang High School where I am studying Health & Social Care.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my friends, walking my dog and shopping. I have really enjoyed shopping for my special dress!
I am looking forward to becoming Garstang Festival Queen for 2011 very much. I
will be sharing the occasion with my retinue, Rebecca, Amie-Jane, Jess, Tasha, Katie,
Amelia, Briony, Oliver and Owen.
I hope you will come and share this very special day with me, and I pray that the weather will be nice.

RETIRING QUEEN
My year as Garstang Festival Queen 2010 will shortly be coming to an end.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my year as Garstang Queen. It has been an honour and
pleasure to represent Garstang in my duties as Festival Queen. I look forward to
crowning Paige and letting her experience all the wonderful things I have.
I would like to say a huge thank you to my retinue for looking beautiful and smart at all
the events we attended.
Also, I would like to thank my family and friends for all their love and support. Lastly, a
big thank you goes to Janet and the Committee for all their help and hard work.
I look forward to seeing you all again this year as I retire as Garstang's Festival Queen
2010.
