6.00 am                                  Decorating the Market Cross.

10.00 am                                 Procession starts to assemble.

11.00 am                                 Crowning of the Festival Queen.

11.05 am                                 Procession moves off, led by Morris Dancers.

1.10 pm                                   Garstang School Of Gymnasium Display.

1.40 pm                                   Hyndburn Comets Display

2.00 pm                                  Children’s Sports (see page 9).

3.00 pm                                  Football (7 a side) semi finals

5.15 pm                                   Fancy Dress Entrants gather on playing field.

5.30 pm                                  Fancy Dress judging.

5.45 pm                                   Presentation of Tableaux prizes.

6.00 pm                                  Evening Procession moves off, led by Morris Dancers.

7.00 pm                                  Presentation of Fancy Dress Prizes.

7.30 pm                                   Football (7 a side) Final.

1.00 pm – 5.00 pm                Free for younger children – Entertainment on the field including children’s face painting, bouncy castle,  bouncy slide, children’s roundabouts.

Refreshments available all afternoon.
